		<description>Excellent post. Too often people don&#039;t want to hear about the practical side of moving abroad. I have helped literally dozens of families move abroad, and the ones that do really well have a sense of adventure, realize that everyday won&#039;t be a vacation, and resolve not to simply be a transplated American, but to become an active member of their new community. Just a little practical advice too, when you are packing don&#039;t bring a lot of stuff. I have yet to be anywhere abroad that has nearly as much closet space as the U.S.
